This years Rangers have been busy checking the routes for this years Adventure. …and the flag goes with 🙂
rain setting in, again, but there is always time for a picture.
One of the bases was to do some Community service in the KZN Ezemvelo area. Patrol work on rebuilding and repairing a river crossing.
It rain almost every day on the adventure. But like RAIN! Our Ops tent, medic tent and mess tent all got flooded at some point. The scout encountered hail, heavy winds and lots and lots of rain. Our medic tent ended up becoming temp shelter for a few staff who’s tents got flood too. 🙂
Opening ceremony to the inaugural KZN Senior Scout Adventure was so special. The efforts of the last few month all coming together. We paid special tribute to 2 Scouters, both special in their own roles within scouting, at the opening ceremony. RIP Buzz Macey and Janet Prest Talbot.
